Masala Chai literally means “mixed spiced tea,” and is the traditional tea choice in India. It consists of the finest Assam black tea and Masala spices. Expect a full-bodied brew with some spice. But don’t worry, it’s well-balanced with cardamom, warm and citrusy ginger, sweet cinnamon and accents of cracked black pepper and fragrant cloves. You can brew it straight up for a spicier take, or the more mellow way with simmered milk, honey, and water.
