At Mosi, our garden-picked teas are sourced directly from select gardens that we visited and hand-selected. They are renowned for their quality and sustainable practices. By partnering closely with these gardens, we ensure that each tea leaf is handpicked at its peak, offering you a fresh and authentic tea experience. No traders, no brokers, no suppliers... just tea direct from tea estates that have been around for centuries and are masters of their craft.

Our garden-picked teas stand out because of our commitment to quality and sustainability:

• Direct Sourcing: We work directly with tea gardens, eliminating middlemen to ensure fair compensation for farmers and the freshest teas for you.
• Handpicked Quality: Each leaf is carefully selected by skilled hands, ensuring only the best make it into your cup. The tea plants we choose are also never less than 50 years old, which gives a consistent flavor with every cup.
• Sustainable Practices: We prioritize gardens that use eco-friendly farming methods, supporting both the environment and the communities involved.
• Unique (but simple) flavors: We don't add chemicals or artificial flavors to our tea. We let the tea and high quality ingredients bring out the flavors as they were meant to be... delicious and unadulterated.

To maintain the freshness and flavor of your teas:

• Airtight Containers: Our tea pouches are resealable, which is perfectly fine to use. Otherwise, store your teas in airtight containers to protect them from moisture and odors.
• Cool, Dark Place: When kept in a clear container, keep them in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and strong scents.
• Avoid Refrigeration: Refrigeration can introduce moisture, which may affect the tea's quality.

Our garden-picked teas are not certified organic because these certifications are expensive, and we would rather pass the savings on to you. However, we prioritize sourcing from gardens that practice sustainable, organic, and natural farming methods. We believe in offering teas that are both delicious and responsibly produced. Whenever we decide to get our organic certification, we'll pass it with flying colors and with the highest standards.

When stored properly, our garden-picked teas maintain their optimal flavor for about 12 to 24 months (but we doubt you'll have them that long!). While they remain safe to consume beyond this period, you might notice a gradual decline in flavor intensity.
